Toast 8 Titanium Support Notes

Have you ever burned an audio CD using songs from different sources and the songs playback at different volumes which sends you leaping for the volume knob? If so, Toast 8 is about to make your listening experience more enjoyable.

To normalize audio tracks:

1. Launch Toast and click on Audio --> Audio CD.
2. Add your tracks to the project area by dragging them from the Finder or using the Media Browser.
3. Select the tracks you would like to normalize. You can select a specific track, or multiple tracks. To select multiple tracks, hold down the CMD key while clicking on a track to highlight it. To select all tracks, choose Select All from the Edit menu.
4. Select Normalize Track from the Disc menu.

5. The selected tracks will be normalized, while this is occurring a status window will be displayed.

6. Once the normalization is complete, burn your project as normal.

Remember that like all audio effects available in Toast, normalizing is non-destructive and your original files will never be modified.
